Field note
A reminder that arrives after the class has started
Two fitness packs in the northern states sent reminder copies that were warm and correctly spelled. The send time was 7:05 for a 7:00 class. Members who still lived by a bus timetable had already given up in the lobby. The extract called them inactive. The exit calls called them embarrassed.
Churn analytics here is almost petty: line up the session clock, the send log, and the bus. We put those three columns on paper during clinic days because nobody wants to believe their own reminder is late. Once it is visible, the welcome team stops rewriting the hero sentence and moves a clock.
If you think your cliff is “motivation,” bring the send log. Motivation does not usually fail at 7:04.
